Apple is gearing up to unveil the iPhone 17 series in early September, with industry sources pointing to September 9 or 10 as likely launch dates. The event, consistent with Apple’s traditional early-September timeline, will also include new Apple Watch models, making it a key moment for the tech giant.

Four iPhone 17 Models Expected

This year’s lineup will reportedly feature four variants: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 Air stands out with a slimmer, lighter design—about 2mm thinner than its predecessor. Both the Air and Pro models may sport a horizontal rear camera setup, diverging from the familiar vertical design.

Bigger, Better Displays

The standard iPhone 17’s screen size is expected to grow from 6.1 to 6.3 inches. Regular models could gain a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, a feature previously exclusive to Pro models. Meanwhile, the Pro versions may debut a new anti-glare coating to reduce reflections and increase scratch resistance—an enhancement that aims to rival Samsung’s Galaxy S series.
